Actually, the dual camera was scheduled to appear in the Galaxy S8 and the S8 plus but those plans were scraped due to issues with cost. The dual cameras stole the spotlight during the World Mobile Congress and are set to be a big feature in the upcoming smartphones 2017. He said that people can count on a Pixel this year even without confirming the launch data. He however added that there is an annual rhythm of smartphone launches that Google was keen to follow.
The upcoming Google Pixel 2 is rumored to be manufactured by HTC. Google has in the past used different hardware manufacturers including Samsung, LG, Huawei and Motorola to make their phones. However, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella has just but confirmed that they are working on a smartphone which he claims will be the ultimate mobile device.
This new smartphone is rumored to be Intel powered and Surface branded. It will come in three variants. The team behind this surface phone is the same team behind the Surface tablets hence the name.
